CHS hike led at a CHS 2 pace (2.0-2.5mph). A hike up the Pratt Lake and Mt Defiance trails to visit lovely Island and Rainbow Lakes.

We will hike the Pratt Lake trail up to views down to Ollalie Lake and, weather permitting, out to Mount Rainier.  Then we will take the Mount Defiance and Island Lake trails to lovely Island Lake where we will take our lunch break on the shores of the lake.  After lunch we will return to the Mount Defiance trail and visit Rainbow Lake, before retracing out steps back to the trailhead.

Meet at the Pratt Lake Trailhead at 7:45AM, boots on, ready to hike.  There is a restroom at this trailhead.  A Discover Pass is required for parking.

Carpool Option:  Meet at the Tibbets Valley Park Park and Ride lot, near the skate park, at 7am.  It is a 33.2 mile drive to the trailhead.
