We will visit two of the best Chuckanut viewpoints, Oyster Dome and North Butte.  We will also pass Lily and Lizard Lakes along the way.  Weather permitting there are outstanding views out over the islands of the Salish Sea.

Why is it called Oyster Dome?  There are oyster beds (where they grow oysters) in Samish Bay.  Depending on the tide level, we may be able to see the beds from the Samish Overlook.

Meet at the Samish Overlook parking area at 8am.  Access to this trailhead is via a gravel road.  There is a restroom at this trailhead.  A Discover Pass is required for parking.

Carpooling is highly recommended as this is a relatively small and popular parking area.
