Leader is a birder, photographer, and lake lover who does not tolerate heat well, hence the choice of a lovely shaded trail with a very early start. You'll thank me once you start.

Moving pace will average 2.3 up and 2.5+ mph out with a 20-minute swim/lunch break at Kaleetan Lake to celebrate your success and possibly another (depending on pace) at Pratt's lovely beachside lake if nobody is camping there. Two lake dips for the price of one.

Expect very brief (3 minutes) breaks on the hour for bio, snack, photos, or HUCKLEBERRIES, but otherwise we'll keep moving. Only high winds or smoky conditions will cancel. This trip will be challenging even for speedy hikers. If you have any doubts or questions, contact Court ahead of time to make sure we can discuss whether you're prepared.

Tuesdays with Court early morning adventure, this time a CHS-2 graduation hike. Challenge yourself. If you've done any of my hikes it will be comparably paced, just sustained. Meet at the TH booted and ready for introductions at 6 a.m. (yes, 30 minutes before dawn) so we can be hiking by 6:15 AM.

Enchantments difficulty without the overnight, permitting, and driving logistics.

Carpooling will be forthcoming in Hello Hiker email.
