Join co-leaders Court and Diane for a fun early-morning summer adventure to Wallace and Jay Lakes. Bring wading shoes, a wide-brimmed hat, and a hand towel (swim suit if you like) in case weather permits a summer dip. Our goal will be to stay on pace while preventing overheating; 2-3 liters of water per person is recommended on summer hikes.
Early morning Tuesday adventures continue! Meet at the Wallace Falls State Park (past Monroe, approximately 75 minutes north of North Seattle) at 6:45 a.m. so we can do intros, stretching, and start hiking by 7 a.m. to beat most of the heat. Carpooling information will be sent in Hello Hiker email. See https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/wallace-falls-state-park-jay-lake#hike-trailhead-and-map for more information.
