Leader is a birder and photographer. My dog Ajax loves to sniff and is excellent with people. Large dogs intimidate him so no other dogs please.
This will be a "cool, look" walk at an easier pace with short sensory pauses at anything noteworthy and a longer break at the beach to scan for waterfowl. Merlin bird app and binoculars are a good idea but no birding experience is necessary. 1.5-2 mph.
Meet at NORTH TRAIL parking lot at 6:45 booted and ready for introductions so we can be walking by 7 AM. Hello Hiker will include carpooling information.
Early starts provide spring birdsong enjoyment and time to do other things in the afternoon.
