  • Easy
  • Mileage: 7.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 725 ft
  • Pace: 1.5-2.0 mph

7:45 AM at the trailhead to be ready to start hiking at 8:00 AM.  Available parking at the trailhead is limited to 35-40 cars.  No parking pass is needed.  There is no privy at the trailhead so, if needed, plan to stop at Granite Falls which is a couple of miles before  the trailhead.

When the trail was hiked in early March, sections of it were quite muddy and there were about a dozen blowdowns although none were  difficult to go either under or over.  Because of this, consider wearing gaiters and bringing hiking poles.
