Tuesdays with Court continues, this time as a CHS-1 1.5-2 mph paced outing with co-leader Michael Cummins. Leader is a bird enthusiast and photographer so if you want to learn more about birding by ear and get your CHS-1 requirement in at the same time, this is the perfect outing for you.
We'll take short breaks every half hour for sensory pauses / snacks / bio breaks and a longer break at the halfway point. Leader led both CHS-1 and CHS-2 hikes in 2025 as well as the conditioning / nutrition section in the 2026 orientation, so if you have any questions about the program, what to do in heat or smoke, what to expect as the program evolves, or how to choose hikes, feel free to ask. Co-leader participated in CHS-1 in 2025 and also has plenty of wisdom to share from his experience.
Meet at TH (Co-ordinates: 47.5320, -121.9807) booted and ready for introductions and stretches at 6:30 SHARP so we can walk by 6:45. Carpooling details will follow in Hello Hiker email.
