Join me on a morning hike to stunning Cherry Creek Falls in Duvall, Wa.
Challenges: parking is roadside and can get busy on weekends - there is not a parking lot, the trail is muddy in places and there is a creek crossing so expect to have wet boots. Poles are highly recommended.
Carpooling is encouraged from McCormick Park in Duvall where restrooms are available. Facilities • McCormick Park
Our goal for this morning hike will be to enjoy the outdoors and possibly see some spring wildflowers. We will take a 10–15-minute break at the falls for a snack before heading back to the cars.
Additional hike info can be found here: Cherry Creek Falls — Washington Trails Association
Weather forecast: 7-Day Forecast 47.74N 121.98WArrive by 7:45am to begin hike at 8:00am at the trailhead. No permit is needed and bathrooms are NOT available at the trailhead.
We will aim to hike around 1.8-2mph except at the Creek Crossings and travel loosely as a group.
