Tuesdays with Court continues!
Leader is a birder and photographer, so this 1.8-2 mph pace will allow for plenty of enjoyment and a few sensory pauses to take in our surroundings. Expect a clothing break at 15 minutes, a snack break on the hour each hour for 5-6 minutes, and 15-20 minutes enjoying birds and photography at Annette Lake. Bring wading shoes/hand towel if you want to go in the lake.
Bug nets are a very real option; we may be dealing with mosquitoes if there's recent melt of snow. Leader does not carry bug spray; BYOBS.
Enjoy an early start we we maximize birdsong, minimize rush hour traffic, and allow plenty of time in the afternoon for other things.
Meet at the parking lot at 6 a.m. (sunrise is 5:20 a.m.) booted and ready for introductions and stretching so we can be walking by 6:15. Carpooling and details will follow in Hello Hiker.
