All of this hike will be in the dark and the trip will run rain or shine!
From the parking area at the Cable Line Trailhead, we'll take the Cable Line Trail to the Tiger Mountain Trail. We'll follow the Tiger Mountain Trail to its junction with the K-3 Trail. We'll continue on the K-3 Trail, which becomes the West Tiger #2 trail, to the summit of West Tiger #2. Link to route.
We'll have a quick snack and break at the summit. Then we'll return the way we came.
Bring a pack weight of your choosing, something that will challenge you, but allow you to keep a moderate pace. We'll aim for a pace of 1.5-2.0 mph, but will adjust based on the group's needs.
Headlamps required.
If we've climbed together or you've been on my conditioning hikes before, you have permission to sign up! All others, please request permission and let me know what other hikes you've done recently.
We'll meet at the Cable Line Trailhead at 5:45 p.m. for a quick introduction. Boots on the trail at 6 p.m. sharp.
Discover pass required for parking at the trailhead.
