All of this hike will be in the dark and the trip will run rain or shine!
From the trailhead, we'll start on the Bullitt Fireplace trail at 6 p.m., connect with the Central Summit trail, then head to Squak Mountain Central Peak. Then we'll return the way we came, with the option to take a short detour to see the Bullitt Fireplace. Bring a pack weight of your choosing, something that will challenge you, but allow you to keep a moderate pace. We'll aim for a pace of 2 mph, but will adjust based on the group's needs.
If we've climbed together, you've been on my conditioning hikes before, or you are a current Basic Alpine Climbing student, you have permission to sign up. All others, please use the "request leader's permission" button and tell me about other hikes or conditioning you've done recently.
Meet at the Mountainside Drive Trailhead at 5:45pm for a quick introduction and briefing. Boots on the trail at 6:00pm sharp!
