Climbing Conditioner - Section Line Trail

After-work conditioning hike to build fitness through the winter months.

We'll meet at the Cable Line Trailhead at 5:45 p.m. for a quick introduction. Boots on the trail at 6 p.m. sharp.

All of this hike will be in the dark and the trip will run rain or shine!

From the parking area at the Cable Line Trailhead, we'll take the connector trail toward the High Point Trailhead parking lot. From there, we will take the Bus Trail to the Nook Trail. Then we will head west on the Talus Rocks trail until we connect with the Section Line Trail. We'll take the Section Line Trail to the summit of West Tiger 3. Link to route.

We'll have a quick snack and break at the summit. Then we'll return the way we came.

Bring a pack weight of your choosing, something that will challenge you, but allow you to keep a moderate pace. We'll aim for a pace of 1.5-2.0 mph, but will adjust based on the group's needs.

Headlamps required.
