This is intended to be a conditioner hike for climbing and scrambling course students and graduates - ideally folks who are familiar with the trail or comfortable navigating on it. If you aren't sure whether this trip is right for you, please feel free to email me. 

I do not expect us to necessarily hike all in one group the whole way and I'm okay with spreading out due to pace on the way up - if you aren't comfortable with that on this trail, you can hike with me if the pace works.

I plan to choose a pack weight and pace that should get me to the top in about 2:10. If you plan to go faster, that's great, but please bring warm layers to wait at the top of the trail/bottom of the rocks. If you want to go much slower, we may catch you on the way down and turn you around. I don't expect we will spend a ton of time hanging out at the top of the trail unless the weather is uncharacteristically good.

I will go ahead with the trip if there's precipitation, but might cancel if winds are very high.

If the trailhead is full, there's an overflow lot a quarter mile or so to the west, with a trail connector over.
