*All of this hike will be in the dark and this trip will run rain or shine!*
The goal for this hike is to build fitness for the climbing season. Bring a pack weight that will challenge you, but allow you to maintain a moderate pace (about 2 mph).
From the parking lot, we'll follow the Dirty Harry's Peak Trail to the Dirty Harry's Balcony Trail to Dirty Harry's Balcony. At the balcony, we'll gather for a snack break and some knots practice (Basic Climbing students, bring your practice rope!). Then, we'll return the way we came.
If we've climbed together, you've been on my conditioning hikes before, or you are a current Basic Alpine Climbing student, you have permission to sign up. All others, please use the "request leader's permission" button and tell me about other hikes or conditioning you've done recently.
Meet at the Dirty Harry's Balcony Trailhead at 5:45pm. Boots on the trail by 6pm.
There is a restroom at this trailhead. Discover pass needed for parking.
