This will be a DOUBLE DUTY conditioner hike with a strenuous pace to the bottom of the haystack atop Mt Si. We will go up and down the mountain twice with weighted backpacks to simulate a rainier climb!!!!

This trip will be faster than normal day hikes. we’ll keep a strenuous zone 2 cardio pace (upper 130s heart rate for me at 6’2 210lbs, 30+ lb backpack), taking a few 3-5 min breaks for water, snacks and selfies 📸 😄. We want to keep a good pace to the top to get there in 2:15 hrs each time, and will take a shortish break when we get there to have water/snacks, before going down and doing it all over again 💪

Please bring extra weight for conditioning purposes, please bring water so you can dump it out if you are unable to keep up with the pace of the group.
