This is a standard hybrid Wilderness First Aid course offered by Base Medical. It will include 8 hours of online learning, and 8 hours of in-person learning. Scenarios in the course will be put in the context of canyoning, and canyoneers get priority as students, in an effort to make the course as relevant as possible.
Canyoneers (defined as people who have run 3 or more canyons) who are recertifying their WFA get priority until 12/31/2025
Beginning January 1, all canyoneers are welcome to register (even if you are certifying for the first time).
Beginning February 15, anyone can register, including non-canyoneers.
Exact meeting time will be sent out in email before the course, but plan on arriving at the Program Center at 7:45am, ready to start promptly at 8am.
Expect to go until 6:30pm.
