This practice session is intended for students who are registered for the 2022 Basic Waterfall Canyoning Course. Students must have completed or tested out of the Canyon Fundamentals seminar.
Welcome everyone! The Basic Waterfall Canyoning course is almost here and we can't wait to meet everyone. This practice session will focus on skills learned during the Canyon Fundamentals seminar such as rappelling with a canyon descender, basic knots and basic rigging.
What to Bring: Canyoning equipment from the Mountaineers will be available to loan out for the day. Feel free to bring your personal canyoning equipment, jacket & other warm layers, snacks to share (optional, but everyone loves snacks).
