This trip starts off the scramble course with a moderately strenuous hike where we focus and practice all of the non-technical skills essential to scrambling. This trip serves as a gear and condition check, as well as an opportunity to introduce a few of the technical skills that will be thought later in the course
This is a potential make-up trip and will only be available if needed and if instructors are available.
Further details about this Conditioning Hike will be forthcoming in an email sometime the week before the activity, including information about the exact trail and trail-head that will be used.
Meeting Time: We will start moving at 8:00 a.m., so please arrive about 15 minutes earlier to give you time to boot up and go through a short introduction, gear check, and route discussion.
