Outdoor Skills Classes - The Olympia Center

Two classes and one practicum are mandatory for Outdoor Skills. This class provides basic information about how to be well prepared for hiking and other outdoor adventures. The first class focuses on Being Prepared and the second class focusing on Being Safe. There will be a required practice 3-4 hour hike on March 23rd in order to graduate from this class.

Note that we will be discussing appropriate gear and also have gear for families to borrow during the practice hike, so gather your gear but do not spend a lot of money buying new gear until you have participated in the class!
