Youth Program

Summer Day Camp - Nature Art Camp - Olympia

A week long day camp full of nature, art, theatre, and more for ages 8-12!

A well full of fun, nature, art, and more for ages 8-12. We will spend the week exploring beaches, identifying plants, foraging for delicious foods, creating art work inspired by nature, work together towards shared artistic goals, learn how to protect the land around us as we create lasting art from invasive plants, and produce a small skit and art show at the end of the week. After camp, your child will walk away ready to appreciate and engage in nature!

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

Camp runs from 9:00am-4:00pm each day
Day Camp is for kids age 8-12. Kids may be divided into different counselor groups based on age.
Where does Camp start and end each day?

Camp runs Monday - Friday: Drop-off and pick-up at Olympia Friends Meeting House (3201 Boston Harbor Rd NE, Olympia, WA 98506).

What does a typical day at Camp look like?

Each day is filled with fun curriculum to teach your camper how to be safe while exploring outdoors. On the first day of camp, we spend the morning getting to know our campers, playing games, jumping into learning about what makes the PNW so unique! Throughout the week your camper will explore a variety of local parks while learning about their surroundings. On field trip days, campers will ride in our van to local areas. A more detailed schedule will be sent to registered families prior to camp.
