This exciting week of Camp is for campers ages 12-16 and includes 3 days/ 2 nights backpacking in Washington's beautiful backcountry.
Campers will arrive Tuesday morning with their backpack packed with gear. Although we will not leave for another day, we will spend the morning doing a pack check, and making sure everyone is prepared to go. We will spend the rest of the day going over Leave no trace, basic first aid, and other wilderness skills.
Wednesday will be the start of our backpack trip.
Schedule:
Tuesday July 9th: 9-12 at the Squaxin Park rose shelter.
Wednesday July 10th- Friday the 12th: We will meet at the rose shelter to pack the cars and go. The plan is the snowgrass flats loop which is 13 miles total with over 2,000 feet of gain. More details will be shared to participants via email.
