Olympia Explorers Rock Climb - Mountaineers Tacoma Program Center

This is a set day for Explorers to learn basic rock climbing skills

We will meet at the Tacoma Program Center at 11:00am

We will spend the first portion of the day learning how to tie climbing knots and practice some basics to rock climbing. . If there is still strong interest in learning how to belay, we will teach belay skills and have time to practice.  After a few hours of climbing, we will clean up and walk to the beach a few blocks away where we will have a late lunch and enjoy the beach area.
