After School Adventure Camp

A weekly camp for youth ages 6-12 that meet from 3-5pm on Thursdays to enjoy local outdoor hikes, beach explorations, and learning outdoor skills. This group will meet through February.

After-School Adventure Club is a small group of youth ages 6-12 that meets on Thursdays from 3:00-5:00 to enjoy outdoor adventures together. With the focus on Nature Inspired Art, each week we will enjoy learning and creating art of our own while exploring different wilderness features at local parks. From tall trees to rocky beaches, art can be found everywhere.

Here is the planned destination schedule:

Feb 4: Team Creating and Exploration at Priest Point Park

Feb 11: Learning how to define Wilderness at Woodard Bay

Feb 18:Andy Goldsworthy inspired Nature Art at Priest Point Park

Feb 25: All about Birds at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge

The intent of this group is to get kids involved in in-person, outdoor activities in a safe manner during the COVID-19 pandemic, while also providing a few hours of childcare for parents during the week. Groups will consist of a maximum of 10 kids and 1-2 staff and volunteers.

All activities will be outdoors so please dress appropriately.
