Salmon Safari is the first of the environmental and conservation education programs that Kitsap Branch has established to encourage the development of healthy connections between young people and nature. Our skilled Educators will lead you on a guided tour of the salmon run on our Kitsap property. Any group of 10-30 people is welcome to come on safari.
Your group will watch real salmon spawning in two Chico Creek tributaries: Lost Creek and Wildcat Creek. Providing this up close and personal experience with nature encourages greater understanding and connection with the natural world.
