We will build rescue anchors and define them.  We will practice pick-off of an injured climber with lower and raise as the recovery technique. We will build various mechanical advantage systems to accomplish the raise and will changeover from lower to raise after our pick-off.

We will build lowering systems using the ATC Guide, primarily, though any descent control device can be used. We will practice with what you carry on your harness.

Meet at 0800 at the Gold Creek Trailhead ready to step off. Washington State Park pass required to park in the lot. It is around a 1.5 mile hike to School Rock with a fairly strenuous last half mile.
