This is a one-day car-to-car climb of Mount Hood likely via the Old Chute, and is for Kitsap Intermediate Glacier Travel course participants. I anticipate 1000' per hour for the first 4 hours and somewhat slower approaching the summit. Emphasis will be on the participants making the decisions on this climb. I will try and just agree.
We will meet and carpool to arrive at Timberline Saturday evening, April 4. Intent is to start climbing at 0300 and complete this as a car to car climb. Meetup to be arranged with the participants, but expect afternoon of Saturday, 4 April.
