U.S. Forest Service Freezes Hiring Of Seasonal Workforce
The Forest Service recently announced that they will not hire seasonal or temporary workers next year due to a budget crisis. While the full impact of the hiring freeze remains to be seen, we expect an impact on recreation next summer. We share why seasonal workers are essential for safe and reliable access to our national forests, potential impacts to our courses, and how we’re advocating for our agency partners.
