Trail Running Committee Meeting

Trail Running Committee Meeting

Though a far cry from our usual potluck and winter celebration, care to join your favorite trail running community talking trails and moving slightly faster on them? Grab a snack and a drink (we'll compete for who brings the best of each, but there will be no prize) and let's take an hour to talk trail running! It's been far too long, friends; let's plan some adventures.
Info
COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers event.

As the branch communication software is already reserved during this time period (trail runners: we seem to have a knack for this), I'm planning on using another source: my work software. This means I'll be following up this event with additional call-in details. Please make sure to sign up here  for the event and that your email works for me to contact you with!

Please note that the agenda material outlined below we're aiming to have take up the 7-8 pm time period. From at least 8-8:30 pm the plan is to resort to our usual period of swapping adventure tails and otherwise giving each other a hard time. Looking forward to all to seeing you all!

Agenda:

  • Tips and tricks: ways folks have managed to navigate/mitigate the pandemic risk (especially aimed at running)

    • 2020 backcountry trail running course was canceled
    • 2020 frontcountry trail running course was suspended after multiple postponements and we just sort of left folks hanging... we never did wrap this up!
