Running in the winter poses challenges even for the seasoned trail runner. Join us and learn about all things winter trail running, from lighting to clothing and gear choices. We will cover various traction devices and when to use them, including running-specific snowshoes. This is a hands-on learning experience so there will be a gear show and tell as well as Q&A. Feel free to bring your own gear as well as your questions!
The general public is welcome to attend- club membership not required. Club members, please sign up at https://www.mountaineers.org/locations-lodges/foothills-branch/committees/foothills-branch-trail-running-committee/seminars-clinics/introduction-to-winter-trail-running-seattle-public-library-columbia-branch/view
