Instructor Training - Wilderness Navigation Field Trip - Site Walk Through - Raging River State Forest

This onsite walk-through is intended for instructors who are unfamiliar with the Raging River site. Navigation students should NOT sign-up for this activity. INSTRUCTORS SHOULD CONTACT THIS ACTIVITY'S PRIMARY LEADER IF THEY HAVE TROUBLE REGISTERING.

We will meet at the BPA substation. Lat/Long: 47.494891, -121.873112 at 9:00 AM

The walk-through is expected to take about 4 hours.  

This walk-through will familiarize you with our Field Trip training objectives, organization, individual roles and responsibilities, timeline, exercises and course layout. Instructors who take the walk-through are not required to take the online training.

We will be outdoors for the entire time please dress appropriate for an early March off-trail day hike at lower elevation.

Carpooling at your discretion. There will be adequate parking at the trailhead.

Bring your compass.  I'll provide everything else.
