How many times have you walked the loop of Seward Park? And have you ever ventured inside?
It was years before I realized that Seward Park has an amazing old growth forest at its heart. If you've been to the park but not ventured inside come experience the park in a whole new way. And if you've never been to the park before you're in for a treat as this park has waterfront walking, Mt. Rainier views, bald eagles, and well-maintained trails.
This trip is divided into 4 evenly-spaced climbs of approximately 100 feet. This way you can really feel the difference and compare the them. We'll wind our way around, up, and through Seward Park to cover almost all of the available trails, stopping for snack/lunch at a scenic spot with benches.
10:00am at the Seward Park Audubon Center front entrance.
