June Hikes: 3.5 to 6 miles, 400 to 1,500 feet gain - Cherry Creek Falls

This forested hike will end at a gorgeous waterfall where we will take time for a snack and some photos. I hiked here a week ago and the falls were incredible. This hike counts toward your monthly required GoHike course June trips.

This 5-mile hike with no steep sections ends at a beautiful waterfall. Let's enjoy some time on the trail together. This is a fun and social hike outing.

Challenges: parking is roadside and can get busy on weekends - there is not a parking lot, the trail is muddy in places and there is a creek crossing so expect to have wet boots. Poles are recommended.

Carpooling is encouraged from McCormick Park in Duvall where restrooms are available at: Facilities • McCormick Park

Our goal for this morning hike will be to enjoy the outdoors and possibly see some spring wildflowers. We will take a 10–15-minute break at the falls for a snack before heading back to the cars.

We will aim to hike around 2.0-2.3 mph except at the Creek Crossings and travel loosely as a group.

Grateful Bread is a wonderful bakery in Duvall and Seattle. Duvall | Grateful Bread Bakery & Cafe

If you seek croissants or other baked goods, please order in advance. They sell out early on Saturday. Sandwiches will be available. I'll stop by there for a quick and tasty treat after the hike if you would like to join me.
