This is a fun walk through the locks park, across the locks to an interesting neighborhood to Discovery Park with water views and some forest canopy. This urban walk counts toward your monthly required GoHike course August trips.

We will stay together as a group and cross all streets together as a group.
This walk includes pavement, trails, docks, and pedestrian sidewalks.
Bring poles, water, and snacks.
There are bathrooms at the meeting point, on the other side of the locks, and in Discovery Park.
There will be the option of lunch afterwards.

There is PAID 4 Hour Parking outside the locks entrance.
Required Equipment
Bring hiking poles, water, and snacks.
Leader will send out a Hello Walker email prior to the walk that may include requirements or recommendations for equipment.
