Mentor Group Practice Camp - Magnuson Park
At this practice camp for Sarah H and Sara R's mentor group we'll practice fitting and packing our backpacks, setting up our sleep systems, gathering and filtering/treating water, and using our stoves, while also checking out each others gear. Other B3ers welcome if there's registration space.

Bring your "trail lunch" including something to cook on your stove (ex: hot water for coffee, lunch noodles, instant soup).
Students from other B3 mentor groups are welcome to signup if you cannot attend your group's practice camp, or you want more practice.
Meet at the Mountaineers Seattle Program Center lobby at Magnuson Park. Have boots on and packs ready to go at 10am. We'll be at the program center for pack fitting until about 10:30am, then hike 1 mile to Kite Hill for our practice camp. We'll hike back and return to the Program Center about 3pm.
Required Equipment
Bring your backpack loaded with all of the gear that you have rented, borrowed or bought to date, and all of your questions! This is a rain or shine activity, so be prepared for inclement weather.
