This is Jenny's mentored trip for B3.
This is a challenging 3-day backpacking trip intended to allow you to practice all of the skills you have assembled over the season.

We'll be hiking at a decent pace (2 mph), with breaks for food and pictures.  To ensure that everyone is able to enjoy the trip and and we are able to successfully and safely complete the trip, participants are encouraged to have recently completed a prior multi-night backpack and/or have recent multi-day hikes under their belt.

A Hello Hiker addressing trip details will be emailed to all participants.  General details are below:
Day 1:  Walupt Lake to Snowgrass Flat where we will set up camp for the night (11 miles, 4400 ft of total elevation gain).
Day 2:  Snowgrass Flat to Hidden Spring (12 mi, +3140 ft).  Today we'll be crossing The Knife's Edge, which is a 1.5 mile rocky ridge traverse.  This section of the trail has some steep drop offs to either side of the trail and may pose mental challenges for those uncomfortable with heights or exposure.  Please reach out if you would like to further discuss this section.
Day 3: Hidden Spring to White Pass (8 mi, +1400 ft). Car shuttle back to Walupt Lake to pick up cars.

Meeting Place:  Meet at the White Pass Pacific Crest Trail trailhead which is on the south side of Hwy 12, across the road from the White Pass Campgrounds.

Meeting Time:  Have your pack ready to go at 9AM.  We will leave cars here and shuttle to the Walupt Lake Trailhead to start our hike.
