Backpacking Building Blocks Student-Only Backpack - Pacific Crest Trail: Harts Pass to Rainy Pass
On this field trip, we'll tackle the PCT between Rainy Pass and Hart's Pass during early larch season. Registration is restricted to Colin's and Rishi's mentor group until April 4th at 8am. Then any B3 student is welcome to request permission.

This is a beginner’s backpacking trip, giving students the opportunity to try out their gear and apply the skills they've learned in the B3 course. We’ll be thru-hiking one of the final sections of the PCT, so we'll cross paths with lots of excited PCT hikers about to finish their long journey.
We'll hike at a moderate pace (2 mph), and take breaks for snacks, views, and pictures.

We'll park some of our cars at the Hart's Pass TH, then carpool in remaining cars to the Rainy Pass TH
Upon completion of the trip, we'll carpool from Hart's Pass TH to Rainy Pass TH to retrieve vehicles
