Backpacking Building Blocks Student-Only Backpack - Goat Lake (Monte Cristo)

At the trailhead but carpooling recommended. We'll meet at the trailhead mid-morning.

Preference is given to Paul's mentor group participants, but if room allows, other B3 students are more than welcome.

It's an easy trip in both directions. Some elevation gain close to the lake but not bad - anyone should be  able to do it. We'll do it at a casual pace - we won't be in a rush.

This is a mid-week, so we'll avoid the crowds. And have a little better chance of seeing wildlife.

There's a nice side hike when we get there, for those so inclined.

This trip depends on the road opening, which varies by year (due to varying conditions). I'm optimistic we'll have a warm winter and thus this date should work, but we'll see.
