Waterfalls, wildlife, and magnificent trees; Enchanted Valley is a Pacific Northwest treasure. We will spend two nights at Pyrites Creek campsite, and hike during our middle day with only day packs through Enchanted Valley. Registration is restricted to Jenne's and Camilla's mentor group until June 25 at 8am. Then any B3 student is welcome to request permission. PERMIT PENDING - if unable to obtain the required permit, will reschedule.

On Friday, we will hike about 10 miles to camp at Pyrites Creek with about 2,100 feet of climbing.  

On Saturday, we will leave our overnight gear and hike to Enchanted Valley. Including some time exploring the valley, we will hike about 10 miles roundtrip (<1,000 feet of elevation gain).   

On Sunday, we will pack up camp and hike back to our cars from Pyrites Creek, about 10 miles climbing about 1,200 feet. 

The forecast shows partly/mostly sunny skies, with some rain and overnight low temperatures in the 40s.  You should check the current weather here before departure.  The trip is subject to cancellation if the forecast takes a significant turn to the worse. 

Permit fees:  The Wilderness Camping Permit will cost approximately $16 per person. Venmo is preferred; Paypal and Zelle can also work.
