We'll have many options as to where we camp, based on the abilities of the group and with a preference for those with toilets.
A good description from Oregon Hikers: https://www.oregonhikers.org/field_guide/Deschutes_River_Hike
And from Alltrails: alltrails.com/trail/us/oregon/deschutes-river-trail-columbia-river-to-harris-island
For most, we'll meet at the Deschutes State Park hikers only trailhead - drive all the way to the end of the paved park road and park at the trailhead near the group camping area. Please note there is a main trailhead just off highway 206E but the trailhead near the group camping area is known to be a safer place to leave cars overnight.
Carpooling and/or meeting before the weekend are also options.
We'll meet at the trailhead on Saturday at 11:00 AM. There is also camping in the area if you want to join the leader a day earlier. There's a good chance we'll visit the local astronomy observatory Friday evening if you want to come down a day early (you could leave late Friday afternoon and still make it in time).
