We should be done by 1400 but the MPC is reserved until 1700 in case we go long
This is the signup for the Foothills Branch Basic Climbing Course Instructor Review. Since this is the first year we're having a Foothills Basic Course, this is required for everyone helping with the Foothills Course - instructors, leaders, etc
We will be reviewing the follow items. The focus is two fold - are you competent with the skill, and how do you teach the skill
- Lead Belaying - with and without device, right and left hand
- Top Rope Belaying - with device, right and left hand
- Rappelling - extended rappel using a double runner, basket hitched through your harness
- Belay escape - going hands free and escaping they belay. No releasable knots
- Crevasse Rescue - 3:1 Z pulley
