Topics of instruction will include selection and use of proper equipment, conditioning, what to rent, where to go, how to plan and evaluate snowshoe routes to avoid avalanche risk, winter travel, safety, and choosing an outing. Students will be eligible to participate in basic snowshoe tours with the confidence of having a foundation in winter travel.
Meeting location within Snohomish County PUD. We will meet at 6:30 p.m. and plan to wrap things up by 8:30.
