Nordic Ski Instructor Clinic - Everett - 2026

Outdoor Leadership & Cross-country Skiing Course

Nordic Ski instructor Clinic

Refresh your touring skills while learning the student progression for Nordic skiing. Completion of this clinic qualifies you to register as an instructor for the Everett Branch Nordic Ski Course.

The Nordic ski committee will be having two instructor clinics. We will be learning  instruction techniques to help us be better instuctors. While the primary goal is to promote best practices and consistency across instructors, it's also a good opportunity to refresh your skills and perhaps pick up a few pointers that may improve your own skiing!

1) Groomed instructor clinic

This clinic is open to all qualified instructors of our basic Classic Nordic class who plan to instruct this year. This clinic is required for all new instructors and anyone who did not take the clinic last year.   We cover the student progression from fundamentals like balance, form, and rhythm to intermediate touring skills on moderate slopes. New(er) instructors will focus entirely on teaching groomed ski techniques and experienced instructors who have completed the instsructor clinic multiple times will spend the time on both groomed and ungroomed skills.

2) Skate instructor clinic

This clinic is open to all qualified instructors of the  skate class. It will focus on teaching the skate progression.

Please select which clinic or clinics you will be attending and registering for.
