The leading on rock portion of the the Everett Intermediate Climbing Course. An application must be submitted and approved before a person is accepted into this class.

Leading on Rock is the rock climbing portion of the Everett Intermediate Climbing Course. Completion of the LOR Course includes:
- 2 days of introductory skills review
- 2 evenings of basic self-rescue instruction
- 4 field trip weekend sessions at various PNW crag/climbing sites
- At least 3 experience climbs
*Applicants must commit to attending all of the sessions as prerequisite to accepting a spot in this course.*
**Successful applicants must attend the Everett Instructor Review on January 20, 2024 at the Seattle Program Center.**

Required equipment will be covered in more detail at the first meeting, LOR 0. Every student is expected to have the following:
- Harness
- Helmet
- Pear Biner
- Rappel device, ATC-guide or similar device with autolocking preferred
- Cordelletes, slings
- Rock shoes
- Belay gloves
- Alpine rack (can start small and share with a buddy)
- etc.
Club ropes are provided for all field trips with the exception of LOR 4 - Squammish.
