- Map (USGS Shuksan Arm paper map, or the PDF map provided)
- Clothes for all weather, gaiters
- Extra (older) rain gear for ice axe arrest practice
- Extra gloves / mitt covers
- Clothes for lodge (cotton OK)
- Sleeping bag, pillow, earplugs
