PLEASE DON'T REGISTER UNTIL YOU HAVE REVIEWED THE NOTES BELOW, YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE AVAILABLE AND THE MEETING TIME AND LOCATION WORK FOR YOU.

If you are hoping for a ride you will have a better chance if you set your profile to "Open" and provide carpool information such as the area you live in and  locations you can reach by transit to meet a driver.

BY REGISTERING THIS LEADER CONSIDERS YOU MADE A COMMITMENT TO THE TRIP. It's only good form to cancel in the event of an injury, illness or an emergency. Even if there are people on the wait list it's often difficult to move them up close to the trip date. THANK YOU!

We will take the gondola up to the summit, enjoying scenic views as we ascend. At the summit, we will exit the gondola, then walk at a leisurely pace down the ridge towards the top of the Green Valley Chairlift and continue down the service road toward the Northway Charlift or further out to Morning Glory Bowl, taking photos along the way.

Please note that the Gondola ticket costs between $5-$33, depending on age and if you one one ride or unlimited. More Info

Options:

  • Eat lunch at the Summit Restaurant or take the Gondola back down to the base and eat at  the cafe or the Alpine Inn Restaurant
  • Attend a free ranger walk and talk at 11am, 1pm or 2:30pm

Note: I plan to arrive the day before to go horseback riding and camping overnight.
