Winter Scramble - West Granite

Misty in the morning, then fog on the summit and finally sunshine in the afternoon. Snow on trail starting at 3000’ elevation. We ascended and descended via the West Ridge in order to minimize exposure to avalanche terrain. 9.9 miles 3600’ elevation, 8 hours car to car.
