Unlike the main Granite Mountain, West Granite (aka Tusk of Granite) is accessible via routes that avoid most potential avalanche terrain.  We'll encounter a variety of winter scramble terrain including forests and ridges.  Expect to participate in navigation and trail breaking.

Destination subject to last minute change due to weather, road or avalanche conditions.
