Wet slog up hill in the rain

  • Road was clear coming in but two separate blowdowns on the way out added an hour to the return trip while crews worked on clearing trees and power lines.

Pouring rain at the trailhead but we went anyway.  The trail was a creek in places from all the rain.  At 4300' we hit a very large and fast moving torrent over the trail that was not safe to cross.  Everyone was soaked and agreed it was a great turnaround point.
