Sourdough Mountain

September 2012- A true North Cascades classic. Hike starts off brutally steep then progresses to very steep. Trail is well maintained but snow does linger pretty late. Make sure to check out the lookout and imagine living up there for a summer like Gary Snyder did. NPS crew has done some great restoration work inside and out and like all lookout hikes the views are to-die-for.
