Heavy Rain while snowshoeing to Source Lake. Many steam crossings/fordings. Snow at upper parking lot is about 2.5 ft deep and about 4 feet at the lake. Source lake is about 85% iced/slushed over right now, looks like late May. Because of the temperature the snow was very slushy. On the steeps you had to pay attention whilst going down hill because even aggressive snowshoes occasionally slid.
All this made for a very enjoyable trip.
